Position Profile: Supply Chain Data Analytics Architect-Andersen Windows

 kpCompanies is leading the search for a recognized expert across supply chain or a mastery of technical skill. This position Drives the development and execution of a Supply Chain enterprise data strategy to enable end to end data visibility which will facilitate real time decision-making (control tower). Also works with senior leaders to strategically determine initiative priority, scope and sequencing to develop and maintain a data roadmap. Acts as subject matter expert to train/coach others in the skill within the business.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with senior business and technology leaders to understand and interpret strategic needs into data/analytic direction.

  • Ai in the development and maintenance of a 3-5 year Supply Chain data roadmap.

  • Engage with leadership/stakeholders to understand business problems where data products or tools can have the biggest impact, then develop and execute your planned solutions with the support of your manager and your teammates

  • Explore complex data sources, becoming a subject matter expert in AW order/plan/source/make/deliver processes. 

  • Drive total cost improvements to the entire supply chain, going beyond the 4 walls to engage with suppliers, customers, and other partners.

  • Coach and mentor supply chain analysts and architects to share and utilize best practices across the enterprise

  • Develop and drive the use of common tools and processes consistent with future needs

  • Performs as a subject matter expert for the business process supported.

 Direction of others:

  • Leader of strategic and/or enterprise-wide supply chain projects or process improvement activities.

  • Facilitates cross- functional projects/continuous improvement events including kaizens, value stream mapping, process mapping.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, equivalent experience.  Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred

  • A minimum of 8 years combined experience in multiple areas of Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Systems.

  • Master knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management Systems.

 

Skills/Competencies:

  • Demonstrates competency to coach others in ERP systems, data mining and data reporting.

  • Advocates and coaches others on lean tools including Pull, 5Y, PDCA, kaizen facilitation, A3 thinking, and waste elimination.

  • Builds strong working relationships with internal and/or external customers.

  • Takes the initiative to solve customer problems and delivers what the customer is promised.

  • Continuously seeks new knowledge, skills, and best practices.
