Our client, State Farm, is looking for an Account Manager!!

To work as an employee of a State Farm independent contractor agent assisting the agent in marketing State Farm products and services and in providing quality service to State Farm customers. We provide auto, home, renters, life, and health insurance as well as other types of insurance and financial services. Insurance experience is not a requirement for hire.

Looking for someone with the following experience:

Experience in customer facing fast paced work with customer service experience desirable.

Experience with popular computer software desirable. Agility moving between functions and accurately inputting data.

Knowledge of, or interest in, earning commission, consultative solution based selling, personal lines of insurance products.

Skills and Abilities:

 

Ability to learn and apply product, industry and market knowledge to satisfy state insurance licensing requirements.

Ability to influence others through active listening, relating and consultative positioning of appropriate insurance products based on customer needs.

Ability to create professional business relationships with prospects and policyholders.

Strong listening, oral and written communication skills. 

Ability to take initiative and act effectively in various circumstances without direction.

Self-confidence/perseverance/strong work ethic: remain positive and maintain progress towards a goal in spite of obstacles and adversity.

Goal oriented: highly motivated and resourceful to achieve results. Enjoys striving for success and has a competitive nature.

Training Requirements:

Successfully complete all federal, state and company requirements (licenses) to market and service designated State Farm products. Maintains licenses and is in good standing is required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Understands and can communicate the value and differentiation of this agency and the products we offer.

Call leads, create quotes and closes business – consistently & daily.

Implements the agency’s marketing plan and direct mail campaigns at direction of the agent. Includes community work, events, networking, and digital media.

Works from the agent’s office to contact prospects and current policyholders to generate interest in insurance financial review appointments.

Conducts needs based sales appointments in the agent’s office supported by technology.

Meets marketing goals set by the agent.

Provides prompt, accurate, friendly, cost-effective service and utilizes it as a basis for establishing relationships and as a marketing opportunity.

As directed by the agent, works with agent’s computer system to update information in customer databases used by the agent.
