Human Resource Generalist

Performs complex clerical duties, under limited supervision and follows established procedures in the Human Resource function, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services. Serves as a frequent contact for Human Resources information and must have a working knowledge of the benefits, policies, and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains Human Resources Information System (HRIS) records and compiles reports from database.
  • Coordinates payroll for corporate employees and acts as back up to payroll processor.
  • Conducts recruitment effort for exempt, nonexempt and temporary employees; writes and places
  • Facilitates new hire and On-boarding
  • Maintains personnel records, ensuring security of personal, confidential
  • Monitors and coordinates performance appraisal programs. Facilitates review processes and trains employees on performance appraisal. 
  • May assist plant personnel with compensation decisions and coordinate wage and salary
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Maintains Company organizational charts and employee
  • Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
