What we're looking for: 
Plan and implement sales activities, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new customers / markets in a designated territory with the goal of achieving annual sales quotas and sustaining consistent long term sales growth.
· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company’s objectives for annual and long-term growth of products and services.
· Manage sales expenses, including travel and meals within the annual operating budget.
· Achieve satisfactory profitability and market share in relation to preset standards and industry/economic trends.
· Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
· Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and negotiate and close deals.
· Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product, staff exhibit booth, conduct product training for physician attendees.
· Work with established price lists and pricing guidelines. Inform Senior Management of opportunities that may require special pricing considerations.
· Seek out and identify niche market opportunities.

· Bachelors Degree in Sales, Marketing or Communications preferred.
· 3+ years progressively successful sales experience medical devices and/or pharmaceutical sales
· PC literacy, ability to work with basic software and spreadsheets.
· Possess high level of energy.
· Innovative, creative thinker.
· Excellent presentation skills.
· Ability to develop and deliver meaningful programs of instruction / training aids.
· Highly motivated with ability to influence others.
· Strong self-confidence with ability to project professional appearance.
· Strong verbal and written communications skills.
· Organized with strong record keeping and follow-up skills.
· Strong regard for exceptional customer service, ability to address and resolve customer problems.
